Alexa Bannerman is an injury prevention specialist with O2X with 14 years of progressive sports medicine experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC). She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Central Florida, and a Master’s in Science in Sport Fitness Management from Troy University. Alexa is currently working as a contracted ATC with Naval Special Warfare in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Prior to transitioning to the tactical athlete, Alexa spent most her career in Division I athletics. Alexa possesses a strong clinical skills, with specialty in myofascial therapies, Functional Dry Needling, post-operative rehab, and innovative return to duty rehabilitation. Born and raised in Michigan, Alexa is a Midwest girl at heart. She is an intrinsically motivated lifelong learner who loves working with like-minded individuals. In her free time, Alexa enjoys weight lifting, eating, outdoor activities, and spending time with her husband and their three crazy kids!
