Ana Fins, PhD, ABPP is an O2X Sleep and Resilience Specialist and a Professor in the Department of Clinical and School Psychology at Nova Southeastern University (NSU). She completed her graduate training in Clinical Health Psychology at the University of Miami where her dissertation focused on examining the relationship between psychological coping and immune function in individuals with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Subsequently she completed post-doctoral training in behavioral sleep medicine at the Durham Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Dr. Fins has been training students in health psychology and behavioral sleep medicine for over two decades. At NSU she teaches doctoral-level graduate students in the clinical psychology program. She also supervises doctoral students providing treatment to individuals with insomnia and to individuals coping with serious and life threatening medical conditions. She recently co-authored a book on insomnia treatment and has co-authored various articles and book chapters, many examining the relationship between sleep and health.
