
Ana Tocco
Ana Tocco is an O2X Strength & Conditioning Specialist and the Head Strength & Conditioning Coordinator at St. John’s Preparatory School in Danvers, MA, a role she has held since 2024. She leads the development and implementation of strength and conditioning programs for students, faculty, and staff. Ana worked her way into this role over six years at St. John’s Prep, previously serving as the Associate Head Strength & Conditioning Coordinator and a Middle School Health teacher, where she helped build and strengthen the program across the school.
Prior to St. John’s Prep, Ana served as the Head Strength Coach and Site Director at Innercity Weightlifting, a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing youth violence by connecting proven-risk young people with new networks and opportunities through personal and group training.
Ana earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she was also captain of the Women’s Rowing Team. She began her career at Mike Boyle Strength and Conditioning (MBSC) in Woburn, MA, where the growth-focused environment helped shape her coaching philosophy. She went on to earn her Master’s degree in Coaching Education from Boston University while working as a Graduate Assistant in BU’s varsity weight room.
In addition to her work at St. John’s Prep, Ana collaborates with O2X to support tactical athletes in maximizing human performance through structured, practical strategies that drive sustainable improvement.
Ana is passionate about using strength and conditioning as a platform to develop life skills. She emphasizes process-driven goal setting and works to help athletes build consistency, resilience, and confidence while maximizing their athletic potential. She continues to invest in her professional development by attending conferences and seminars each year.
Her certifications include: Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coach (SCCC), Functional Movement Screen (FMS), Functional Range Conditioning (FRC), Precision Nutrition Level 1, USA Weightlifting Coach, StrongFirst Kettlebell Instructor Level 1, Certified Wellness Coach (AADP), Postural Restoration Institute (PRI), and the Altis Speed and Sprint Mechanics Mentorship Program.
