Dustin Chadwick
Dustin Chadwick is an O2X On-Site Human Performance Specialist, specializing in strength and conditioning with the Washington Air Support Operations Squadron (ASOS). He has worked in the strength and conditioning field since 2011, bringing extensive experience across collegiate athletics, private-sector performance, and tactical human performance. A former three-sport athlete at Pacific Lutheran University, Dustin competed in football, rugby, and lacrosse before beginning his professional career. He later attended Texas Christian University, where he worked with athletes across multiple sports, before joining Northwestern State University of Louisiana. There, he progressed from Graduate Assistant to Assistant to the Director of Strength and Conditioning, supporting athletes across the department with a primary focus on baseball, soccer, football, and basketball.
After several years working with athletes and general-population clients in the private sector, Dustin transitioned into tactical human performance as the Base Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. His experience supporting the unique physical and operational demands of tactical professionals ultimately led him into the Air Force Special Warfare community, where he has spent the majority of his career. His background also includes experience as a fugitive recovery agent, which provided him with an early understanding of the physical and mental demands associated with high-risk, unpredictable environments. Across each setting, Dustin has focused on developing strength, durability, readiness, and sustainable performance to help individuals meet the demands of their profession and environment.
Outside of his professional work, Dustin’s own training has included powerlifting and competitive bodybuilding and is now largely focused on preparing for backcountry hunting and outdoor pursuits. An avid fly fisherman and backcountry hunter, he approaches his training with a practical purpose—developing the strength to carry heavy loads, the endurance to navigate challenging terrain, and the durability to perform consistently over multiple days. Whether working with tactical professionals, athletes, or pursuing his own performance goals, Dustin is passionate about helping people become stronger, more capable, durable, and prepared for the challenges they choose to take on.
