Evan S. Bernhardy is an On-Site Human Performance Specialist with O2X Human Performance, specializing in Injury Prevention as a Certified Athletic Trainer embedded with the Pueblo, CO Police Department. With both a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from East Stroudsburg University, Evan takes a holistic, evidence-based approach to optimizing performance and recovery in tactical populations. He also holds professional certifications in dry needling and cupping, further enhancing his skill set in preventative care and rehabilitation.
Evan brings a wide breadth of experience from high-performance sports environments, including roles across professional, collegiate, and elite youth athletics. Most recently, he served as a Seasonal Athletic Trainer for the Washington Commanders. His past roles include Head Athletic Trainer for the Bay Area Panthers indoor football team, football athletic trainer at IMG Academy supporting the NFL’s International Player Pathway Program, Head Athletic Trainer at Penn State Schuylkill, and athletic trainer at Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster. Throughout his career, he has been known for his ability to implement innovative systems, foster collaborative environments, and deliver exceptional care that prioritizes long-term health and performance.
Outside of his professional work, Evan lives an active lifestyle as an amateur CrossFit athlete, drawing firsthand insight into the physical and mental demands faced by those he trains. He enjoys exploring the outdoors through hiking and camping with his girlfriend, Kayla, and their two dogs, Bailey and Lily. Evan’s passion for performance, recovery, and community drives both his personal and professional life, making him a dynamic contributor to the O2X team.
