
Isela Sanchez
Isela Sanchez is an O2X On-Site Human Performance Specialist specializing in Injury Prevention as a Certified Athletic Trainer with the City of San Francisco Police Department. In this role, she focuses on supporting officers’ physical, mental, and emotional health to ensure they remain fit, focused, and resilient while serving their community. Through tailored injury prevention strategies and holistic care, she plays a key role in optimizing the performance and well-being of tactical athletes.
Before joining O2X, Isela spent five years with the Los Angeles Lakers organization, serving three seasons with the Lakers’ developmental team before advancing to an assistant athletic trainer role with the NBA squad, including during their 2020 championship season. Prior to her NBA career, she worked with men’s and women’s basketball at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) and began her athletic training career supporting men’s volleyball and cheer at the University of California, Irvine.
Isela holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Texas at El Paso and a Master of Science in Athletic Training from California Baptist University. She is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), and Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES). Her diverse experience across collegiate and professional sports makes her a highly skilled resource in injury prevention and performance optimization within tactical environments.
