Kenny Taylor (Ken or KT) is an O2X Lead and a retired Senior Chief Navy SEAL with numerous operational deployments in SEAL Team 5 and the Naval Special Warfare Development Group. He served as an instructor at the Naval Special Warfare Training Center, where selection, assessment, and training are the focus. Ken found his passion was in human development, helping people maximize their potential to deliver optimal performance.On the heels of 2 back surgeries and a twenty-year career in the military, he transitioned into the world of human performance. Ken became one of the original TRX Suspension Trainer Master Training Specialists and traveled the globe leading Suspension Training Workshops at US and NATO Military bases around the globe. He later served as the Lead Performance Consultant in support of a research and development project named the Continuum of Leadership Development (CLD) Program back at the Naval Special Warfare Training Center.Ken’s life in human performance consulting has also included the management and facilitation of team captain and assistant coaches Impact Leadership Workshops to develop leaders of character, competence, and consequence, for various NCAA D1 programs. Subsequently, Ken has mentored and worked with both high performing collegiate and high-school athletes and coaches alike.Ken lives by the philosophy; Be action-oriented in pursuit of your interests, create new experiences, and embrace a life of learning and development. When working with people, Ken’s goal is to help them practice self-awareness, mental focus, and resilience for dealing with distractions that can potentially disrupt the physical and mental preparation needed to develop skills when working to achieve personal and professional Lastly, he takes stock of every situation and searches for humor or irony in moments of distress, for he believes laughter is medicine for the soul.Ken has a BA in Sport Psychology and an MA in Performance Psychology. Physically, Ken trains strengths/cardio regularly. Hobby-wise he loves golf and snow-skiing, and loves finding new people to share in those activities. He’s also an actor, but that’s a story for another day.
