Lisa Prasso is an O2X Injury Prevention Specialist. She earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The State University of New York at Buffalo in 2010. After graduation she worked as a travel physical therapist in Texas, Arizona, Oregon and Virginia before joining the medical staff at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Lisa currently works as a staff physical therapist in Walter Reed’s Military Advanced Training Center (MATC). Her focus is on treating active duty service members by providing care to the amputee/poly trauma population with the goal of returning them to the fullest functional potential, post injury. Lisa is a Certified Adaptive Recreation and Sports Specialist (CARSS) and is Safe Sport Training certified. She is also certified in Functional Dry Needling levels 1 and 2, Battlefield Acupuncture and Personalized Blood Flow Restriction Rehabilitation. Over the past 10 years, she has treated both civilian and military patients in a wide variety of settings. In her free time, Lisa enjoys exploring new cities, going to sporting events, volunteering in the community and playing in recreational sport leagues. She is also interested in martial arts and recently tested for her orange belt in Krav Maga which she has been studying for the past 3 years.
