Zachary Interewicz is an O2X On-Site Human Performance Specialist specializing in Strength & Conditioning with the Frederick County Fire and Rescue. In his role, Zach works closely with firefighters to enhance both their physical and mental performance, ensuring they are well-equipped to handle the demands of their high-risk profession. His expertise in strength and conditioning, combined with his experience working with the U.S. Army’s 10th Mountain Combat Aviation Brigade, provides him with a unique understanding of human performance in high-stress environments.Prior to joining the Frederick County Fire Department, Zach gained valuable experience in a variety of roles, including serving as a strength and conditioning/rehab specialist in hybrid Physical Therapy and Performance Facilities. He also served as the assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, where he gained hands-on experience in elite sports training. These experiences allowed Zach to deepen his understanding of performance optimization, whether in sports or high-stakes professions like firefighting.Zach holds a Master of Science degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in sport and exercise conditioning, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania. In his personal life, Zach enjoys staying active by playing ice hockey and spending time outdoors. He also enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, and cherishing time with friends and family, further emphasizing his balanced approach to life and performance.
