A perfect side to any dish! Roasted Broccolini and Jalapeno with Lemon Tahini Sauce with O2X EAT specialist AJ Fusco (@forkandhoseco)
Ingredients:
2 bunches of Broccolini
1 Jalapeno
Olive Oil
Salt
2 Lemons
5 Tbsp. Tahini
1 Garlic Clove
Roasted Sesame Seeds
Directions:
– Preheat oven to 425*
– Trim bottom 2 inches off of broccolini. Cut thicker stalks in half lengthwise. Toss with a drizzle of EVOO, sliced jalapenos and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Arrange on a sheet pan in a single layer
– Roast in the oven for 12-15 minutes or until crisp and tender
– While the broccolini is roasting, make your tahini sauce. In a medium bowl add the juice of the lemon and pinch of salt. Grate the garlic using a micro plane into the same bowl. Add the tahini and whisk to combine
– Add the hot water and whisk until smooth. Set aside
– Plate the broccolini, drizzle with sauce and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Garnish with lemon wedges
